The Deputy Director of the School Education Department, S S Keladimath, has stated that comprehensive academic preparations have been made for SSLC students in Dharwad, ensuring a smooth and effective examination process for the current academic year. Speaking to the media after the completion of the second SSLC examination, Keladimath said that the department had undertaken extensive planning and support measures for students from June through March. He emphasised that special attention has been given to students who were lagging behind in their studies, particularly through initiatives such as Mission 40+, which aims to improve learning outcomes and overall performance.
According to official data, a total of 26,687 students registered for the SSLC examinations in Dharwad district. Out of these, 24,408 students appeared for the exams, while 280 were absent. Officials noted that the overall attendance rate was satisfactory and reflects the seriousness of students towards their academic responsibilities.
Keladimath highlighted the collective efforts of school authorities in ensuring better results this year. He said that headmasters and co-teachers across schools have worked diligently with the goal of achieving a 100 percent result. Their coordinated approach included regular monitoring of student progress, additional coaching sessions, and focused guidance for academically weaker students.
He further stated that a detailed analysis of performance and results will be conducted after the examination results are officially declared. This evaluation will help identify areas of improvement and guide future academic planning in the district.
Importantly, the examinations were conducted without any major issues. Authorities confirmed that both exam sessions were held smoothly, with proper arrangements in place to maintain discipline and ensure a fair environment for all candidates.
The department expressed confidence that the efforts made throughout the academic year will yield positive outcomes. Officials also reiterated their commitment to enhancing the quality of education and supporting students in achieving academic success in the coming years.
