The film Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has created box office history by crossing Rs 1,000 crore worldwide within just its first week of release.
Starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, the film has matched the pace of Pushpa 2 and emerged as one of the fastest Hindi films to achieve this milestone.
In India, the movie has collected an impressive Rs 745 crore, making it the second-highest grosser after Pushpa 2. Overseas, it earned around 28 million dollars, approximately Rs 263 crore, with North America contributing a major share of 16.5 million dollars. The total global collection now stands at about Rs 1,008 crore.
The film also features Sara Arjun along with Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Rakesh Bedi in key roles. It is directed by Aditya Dhar.
Trade experts say the film’s strong opening indicates a record-breaking run ahead. Currently, Pushpa 2 holds the top spot in India with around Rs 1,380 crore, while Dangal remains the highest-grossing Indian film worldwide.
With its current momentum, Dhurandhar 2 is expected to challenge these records, setting the stage for one of the biggest box office successes in recent years.
