Chikkaballapura

Students preparing for the upcoming SSLC exams in Chikkaballapura need not worry, said Deputy Commissioner G. Prabhu. He emphasized that regular practice and focused preparation in the remaining days will help students achieve results that reflect their hard work.

Speaking at a phone-in program organized by the Deputy Director of School Education, he explained that the district administration has already implemented several measures to improve class 10 performance. Special learning classes were conducted before school, during holidays, and even during Dasara vacations. Night schools are also being run in some areas with parental support.

To enhance learning, government schools were adopted by officers from other departments, and 52 schools with low past performance received special attention. District-level officers visited these schools, studied their needs, and provided solutions to improve results. High school head teachers’ meetings have been held at both district and taluk levels to track progress and provide feedback. Training sessions for subject resource teachers from Bengaluru division were also conducted.

There are 306 high schools in the district, with 15,021 students registered for the SSLC exam this year, including 7,007 government, 2,616 aided, and 5,398 unaided students.

During the “Ask Questions and Solve Problems” Google Meet session, students clarified doubts on exam preparation, syllabus, and exam-day arrangements. Expert teachers, along with the Deputy Commissioner and Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Dr. Y. Naveen Bhat, guided students on facing the exams calmly and confidently.

The district administration assured smooth arrangements at exam centers, emphasizing that consistent effort, not fear, is key to success in the SSLC exams.
