Chikkaballapura

Under the Revenue Village Special Campaign, Chikkaballapura district administration will distribute ownership documents to 2,036 beneficiaries from undocumented settlements on February 27, said Deputy Commissioner G. Prabhu. The program will be held on a large platform near Chokkahalli on the city outskirts, with over 51,000 beneficiaries expected to receive benefits in the coming days.

Speaking at the District Collector’s office, he explained that the campaign identifies residents of undocumented public housing and ensures they receive official title deeds, e-Pauthi account documents, application documents, and pension order letters under the Social Security Scheme. He credited the support of ministers, MPs, MLAs, and local representatives for the program’s success.

The district administration has digitized 1.9 crore pages of revenue records and is working to make all documents available online. Cases of illegal land allocation will also be verified, and ownership confirmed. Thirty staff members who visited every house and delivered documents efficiently will be felicitated for their efforts.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the transparent and people-friendly approach. Manjunath from Manchanabale said families who lived without documents for decades now have legal ownership. Narasimhappa of Adavigollavarahalli praised the free and corruption-free process, while S.M. Munivenkatappa thanked officials for pension sanction letters. Venkataramaiah of Tippenahalli and Narayanaswamy of Muddenahalli appreciated receiving title deeds and updated land records, making loans and government services easier to access.

Additional District Collector Dr. N. Bhaskar, Tahsildar Rashmi, Gagan Sindhu, and District Information Officer M. Junjanna attended the event. The program reflects a historic step toward secure housing and efficient governance for citizens of Chikkaballapura district.
