As part of the auspicious Shri ShirurParyaya festivities, a graceful solo dance performance (ekavyaktinritya) by Saudamini Rao Katpadi took place at Rajangana in Udupi recently.
The artiste received excellent musical support throughout the recital. Acharya Smt. Indira Kadambi provided nattuvangam, while VidweshVishveshSwaminathan handled vocal accompaniment.
VidweshVidyashankar N. played mridangam, and VidweshVivek V. Krishna contributed on the flute, creating a harmonious and traditional backdrop for the dancer’s expressive presentation.
