Mangalore reviews taluk level guarantee scheme progress

MANGALORE

A review meeting of the Mangaluru Taluk Level Guarantee Scheme Implementation Committee was held at the Taluk Panchayat Hall under the chairmanship of Surendra Kambali on Thursday.

Child Development Scheme Officer Shwetha announced that the subsidy for October 2025 under the Grihalakshmi Scheme has been released and will soon be deposited into the beneficiaries’ accounts. She urged all beneficiaries to check their accounts and ensure proper receipt of funds.

During the meeting, a new KSRTC bus sanctioned for the Ulaibettu-Sankamad route was discussed. Committee member Nawaz requested that the bus service be started immediately, and the KSRTC officer responded positively, promising timely implementation.

Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Mahesh Kumar Holla, District Guarantee Scheme Implementation Committee Member Alston D. Cunha, Taluk Guarantee Scheme Committee members Prashant S, Nawaz, Shaila Neeta D’Souza, Rajesh Shetty, Ritesh Anchan, Vidya, Sridhar Panja, D.M. Mustapa, along with departmental officers, Taluk Panchayat Planning Officer Sukanya, Content Manager Aries, and Taluk IEC Coordinator Nishmita B, attended the meeting.

The committee reviewed the progress of ongoing schemes, ensured coordination among departments, and highlighted the importance of timely delivery of benefits. Officials encouraged continued monitoring to ensure the effective implementation of the Taluk Level Guarantee Scheme across Mangaluru.
