Kristu Jayanti University NCC band bags first prize at R-Day parade

The NCC Band of Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) clinched the first prize at the Republic Day parade organized by the Government of Karnataka, continuing its remarkable winning streak for the fourth consecutive year on January 26.

The award was presented in the august presence of the Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar felicitated the NCC Band by presenting them with the trophy, lauding their discipline, precision, and outstanding performance.

Fr Dr Augustine George, Vice-Chancellor said, this remarkable achievement is a testament to the discipline, dedication, and teamwork of our NCC cadets. Winning the first prize for four consecutive years reflects their relentless commitment to excellence. I congratulate the cadets, their trainer Rayappan, and NCC officers Captain Dr Sarvesh Bantahalli and Lieutenant Manivannan for bringing great pride and honour to Kristu Jayanti University.
