Rainwater harvesting system should be provided at the place where the white topping work is being carried out.

Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao instructed the officials to complete the white topping work undertaken at Vijayanagar RPC Layout quickly.
Speaking while visiting various places in the West Municipal Corporation limits on Tuesday and inspecting them, he said that white topping work has been undertaken on a 1.4 km long road from Railway Parallel Road West of Cord Road to 5th Main Road, and 645 m. of the road has already been completed. He instructed the officials to expedite the pending work and complete it at a fast pace.
Roadside drains should be properly made and footpaths should be constructed as per the rules. He instructed the officials to carry out the white topping work while maintaining the quality.
Kere Kodi Road near Hosakere Halli needs to be widened, and some properties and nice properties should be handed over to widen the road connecting the main road to Kere Kodi Road. He also instructed the officials to give TDR to PES Maidan and hand over the land and widen the road.
Buffer road work is being undertaken from Kere Kodi Road to RR Nagar Arch and Nayandahalli Circle to V Legacy Road, and the tender process should be completed quickly and work should start. He also instructed that a plan should be drawn up for the construction of cross roads in the area and steps should be taken to construct the road. Javaregowda Doddi Road also needs to be widened, and he instructed to examine and take appropriate action in this regard.
Nagarbhavi Lake will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.5 crore. The development work has been undertaken at a cost of Rs. 1000 crore, and the lake is spread over an area of 4.7 acres. The encroachments in the lake area have been cleared and the inlet, outlet, promenade, fencing, security staff room, desilting, and bund development works are being carried out. Most of the work has been completed and the remaining work will be completed quickly, the official informed.
West Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr KV Rajendra, Additional Commissioner Digvijay Bodke, Bismail Technical Director BS Prahlad, Chief Engineer Swayamprabha, Superintending Engineers, Executive Engineers and other officials were present.
Saplings should be planted around the lake and decorative lights should be installed. In addition, the Municipal Corporation Commissioner held a meeting with BDA officials and local residents and instructed them to inspect the lake area properly and take appropriate measures, the Commissioner said.
