Solve CNG problem
BENGALURU
The number of vehicles in the Silicon City of Bengaluru is increasing day by day. The number of people using the crude oil required for these vehicles is also increasing. In recent times, the use of CNG gas in vehicles is increasing. But in Bengaluru, motorists are facing a situation where they have to wait for kilometers for CNG gas.
There are two lakh autos in city, and the autos that are coming in recently are using CNG gas. Thousands of taxis and bikes are also using CNG instead of LPG. But there are 77 fuel stations in the capital, most of which are outside the city. Therefore, there is a situation of waiting for hours for gas, and driving six or seven kilometers for gas, and auto organizations have appealed to increase the number of fuel stations.
CNG means compressed natural gas. Mainly, this CNG is used in most of the autos, cars and bikes that are coming in recent days. Compared to petrol and diesel, the price of CNG is also low. It gives more mileage, so more people are using it. But the number of CNG bunkers inside Bengaluru city is less. There are a total of two lakh autos and thousands of taxis in the city. But the number of CNG bunkers is only 77. Therefore, motorists are facing a situation where they have to wait for gas for kilometers.
In city, most of the CNG stations are located outside the city. The stations within the city are located at intervals of about seven to eight kilometers, and a situation has arisen where people wait for hours in front of the stations after paying rent. This is causing traffic jams on the roads in front of the stations. Since it is winter, drivers are increasingly turning to the more expensive CNG stations. Adarsh Auto Union President Manjunath has appealed to increase the number of stations.
