Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga unveiled the first look poster of his upcoming cop drama Spirit at midnight on New Year’s Day, bringing 2026 with a bold image starring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri.
The poster instantly grabbed attention online, drawing praise from fans while also sparking debate over its similarity to Vanga’s earlier hit, Animal.
In the visual, Prabhas appears shirtless, his back turned to the camera, with visible injuries and bandages across his body. He is seen holding a liquor bottle and smoking, suggesting a dark and intense character.
Triptii Dimri, wearing a grey sari, is shown lighting a cigarette for him, adding to the gritty mood.
Many fans praised Prabhas’ lean and muscular look, comparing it to his Baahubali-era fitness.
At the same time, critics felt the poster closely resembled scenes from Animal, especially those showing a wounded hero being cared for by Triptii’s character.
Some viewers said the casting of Triptii worked better than Deepika Padukone, who exited earlier due to scheduling issues.
Spirit also stars Vivek Oberoi in a key role, reportedly as the villain.
