Mark Completes First Week With Rs 21.14 Crore Collection

Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep’s latest action thriller Mark has completed one week in theatres with a total box office collection of Rs 21.14 crore. Released on Christmas, the film opened to strong numbers but saw a steady fall during weekdays.

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Mark earned more than Rs 8.6 crore on its opening day. The film collected around Rs 3.2 crore each on Friday and Saturday, followed by Rs 3.5 crore on Sunday. Weekday business slowed, with collections of Rs 1.15 crore on Monday, Rs 90 lakh on Tuesday, and an estimated Rs 69 lakh on Wednesday.

On the attendance front, the film recorded an overall Kannada occupancy of 16.03 percent on Wednesday. Morning shows saw 9.43 percent occupancy, which rose to 16.81 percent in the afternoon. Evening shows touched 19.74 percent, while night shows closed at 18.14 percent.

Directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, Mark features Sudeep as a suspended police officer racing against time to solve the kidnapping of 18 children. The story unfolds in Mangaluru and involves a drug racket, political links, and clashes between criminal gangs.

The film also stars Naveen Chandra as villain Bhadra and Shine Tom Chacko as politician Adikeshava, with Yogi Babu, Roshini Prakash, and Archana Kottige in key roles. Music by Ajaneesh Loknath has received praise. While fans appreciated Sudeep’s screen presence and action scenes, some felt the storyline was familiar. Overall, the film continues attracting audiences and maintains stable collections across Karnataka theatres statewide.
