Demonte Colony 3 First Look Raises Expectations For Horror Franchise

The makers of director Ajay Gnanamuthu’s much-awaited horror thriller Demonte Colony 3 released the film’s first look poster on Thursday, marking the New Year with excitement among fans. The film stars Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles and is the third part of the successful Demonte Colony franchise.

With the first two films performing strongly at the box office, expectations for the third instalment are high. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release later this year.

Producer Sudhan Sundaram said beginning 2026 with Demonte Colony 3 feels promising. He praised director Ajay Gnanamuthu for maintaining discipline and completing work on time without compromising on quality. He added that Arulnithi continues to be the backbone of the franchise, while several actors from the second part return with stronger character arcs and higher emotional stakes.

Director Ajay Gnanamuthu said sharing the first look at the start of the year felt special for fans. He thanked the producer for offering full creative freedom while ensuring the film remains complete and engaging. The director also said the new film pushes Arulnithi to explore deeper layers of performance.

Written and directed by Gnanamuthu, the film reunites Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar, along with Meenakshi Govindarajan, Archana Ravichandran, Muthukumar and others in important roles. Production began in July 2025 and the project is now in post-production.

Produced by Passion Studios on a grand scale, Demonte Colony 3 promises stronger supernatural elements and aims to be a major chapter in Tamil cinema’s growing horror genre for audiences worldwide.
