Hassan
Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda performed a special pooja at the Deveshwara temple in Haradanahalli village, Huttur, in Holenarasipura taluk, Hassan district. Arriving in the village by helicopter, he visited the temple and participated in homa and havan rituals. He was accompanied by his son H.D. Revanna, Bhavani Revanna, and MLA H.P. Swaroopprakash during the ceremony.
The visit coincided with a JDS workers’ gathering in Hassan, organized ahead of the district and taluk panchayat elections. Before attending the political event, Deve Gowda sought the blessings of Lord Deveshwara, marking his second visit to the temple within a year. During the pooja, he offered prayers for the well-being of the village and the state, highlighting the spiritual significance of the temple in his life.
The event attracted local residents and JDS supporters, who welcomed the former Prime Minister and his family. Deve Gowda’s visit underscores his continued connection with grassroots communities and traditional customs, even amid active political engagements.
