KSDL to prioritise Kannadigas in 96–97% of vacancies: Nadagowda

Muddebihal MLA and KSDL president Appaji Nadagowda has said that 96-97 per cent of the vacancies in KSDL will be filled by Kannadigas.

He was presiding over the 70th Kannada Rajyotsava programme held at KSDL’s Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Auditorium.

However, in recent times, it has recovered and made strides towards profitability. He said that all this is due to the sacrifice of everyone working here.

Appaji Nadagowda said that Mysuru Sandal Soap is a proud product of Kannadigas and appealed to everyone to use this soap.

Earlier, Kannada activist and filmmaker Sa. Ra. Govindu said, Kannadigas are yet to get full priority in Kannada Nadu. Politicians are responsible for all this. He said that the government should adopt a two-language policy instead of the three-language formula in our country.

Speaking on the occasion, another guest and Sandalwood actor Komal said that KSDL is like a lamp that never goes out.

Earlier, the meritorious and high scoring children of KSDL staff, employees who won in various competitions and senior employees of KSDL who are retiring this year were felicitated and felicitated. Later, KSDL released the calendar and diaries for 2026.
