North Commissioner launches weekly public phone-in grievance programme

BENGALURU

With the objective of directly listening to and addressing various types of public grievances, the Commissioner of Bengaluru North City Corporation, Shri Pommala Sunil Kumar, has initiated a weekly Phone-in Interaction Programme, to be held every Friday.

This week’s Phone-in Programme will be conducted on December 19, from 7.00 a.m. to 9.00 am. During this time, citizens can directly interact with the Commissioner and share their grievances related to road potholes and road repairs, streetlight maintenance, garbage collection and disposal issues, removal of dangerous trees and branches, mosquito control measures, stray dog control, maintenance and improvement of parks, removal of unauthorized banners and posters, clearance of footpath encroachments, e-Khata–related queries, and drainage-related problems, among others, and make effective use of the programme.

Each complaint received will be registered on the Sahaaya 2.0 Portal and immediately forwarded to the concerned officials. Details regarding the registration of the complaint and the concerned officer will be communicated to the citizen through SMS.
