Revanth praises Sonia

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday hailed Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) leader Sonia Gandhi as the fountainhead for the success of Telangana, emphasising that she remains the guiding force behind the state’s ambitious long-term vision.
Extending his greetings on the occasion of her 79th birthday, Reddy said Sonia Gandhi’s most significant contribution was granting separate statehood to Telangana after decades of public struggle. She is the fountainhead for the success of Telangana and continues to serve as an inspiring and guiding force for achieving all our goals and the ambitious vision – Telangana Rising 2047, he said. The Chief Minister added that he prayed for her continued guidance so the government may serve the people of Telangana better every day, in every way.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka also conveyed his wishes, stating that Sonia Gandhi breathed life into the dreams of four and a half crore Telangana people. He said the political resolve and inspiration she provided during the statehood movement remain deeply etched in the hearts of all Telanganites. With her blessings, he added, Telangana is rapidly advancing on the path of development. We must all strive together to achieve a Telangana of social justice, equality, and peaceful prosperity, he said.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud praised Sonia Gandhi’s leadership and unwavering values, calling them a guiding light for millions. Sharing his greetings on X, he wished her a year of peace, strength, and joy.
IT and Industry Minister D. Sridhar Babu also extended his wishes, describing her leadership, resilience, and commitment to inclusive governance as sources of inspiration for the Congress family. He wished her good health and peace in the coming year. Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar offered an emotional tribute, highlighting her role in fulfilling a six-decade-long aspiration.
