Former Zilla Panchayat member R Shivamadaiah said that time, week and dates are important for everyone in their daily lives.
Speaking after releasing the 2026 New Year Calendar at the Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Chikkegowdan Palya of Yeshwantpur assembly constituency, he said that time, week and date are important for carrying out work and tasks in daily life. According to Hindu tradition, the calendar is a hand mirror by introducing people to the time, festivals and which day each festival falls.
He said that in order to carry out social programs, the quality of serving the people without any distinction between the poor and the rich, the quality of working as a public servant and responding to the hardships of the people has been adopted in life.
Former Kaggalipur Block Congress President Amruth Gowda, Lakkanna, Ravi, Shivappa Nagesh and others were present.
