Congress-backed candidates have won the Bangalore District Central Cooperative Bank (BDCC Bank) elections under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, said BAMUL President DK Suresh.
Addressing a media conference at BDCC Bank in Chamarajpet, Suresh gave information about the election results. The bank elections were held on Sunday and Congress-backed candidates won 15 out of 18 seats. Congress candidates won 2 seats in Ramanagara, 1 in Channapatna, 2 in Kanakapura and 2 in Magadi in Bengaluru South district, he said.
Somashekar has joined hands with us and our candidate has won in his constituency as well. In Bengaluru North district, Congress candidate has won 2 seats in Hoskote, 1 in Devanahalli, 1 in Doddaballapur, 1 in Anekal, 1 in Bengaluru North constituency and 1 other constituency with the cooperation of HM Revanna. The remaining 2 seats in Nelamangala and Solur constituencies have been won by BJP candidates, he informed.
With the cooperation of Deputy Chief Minister Shivakumar, Ministers Ramalinga Reddy, KH Muniyappa, Krishna Byregowda, and MLAs Shivanna, Sharath Bachegowda, Iqbal Hussain, Balakrishna, CP Yogeshwar, Srinivas, leaders RK Ramesh, Venkataramanappa and other leaders, Congress-supported candidates have been elected to the governing body in this election. I thank all the cooperative brothers, all the party leaders, Ministers, MLAs, and defeated candidates who cooperated in this election, he said.
The BDCC Bank with a long history, that attracts attention in the state located in the capital and has seen many ups and downs. The Bank has been well managed in the current situation. This Bank has a total coverage of 36 assembly constituencies in Bangalore North, Bangalore South and Bangalore City districts, he said.
