PROTECT SAFETY OF JAIL INMATES

Actor Darshan is said to have continued his old habits even in jail. Even the inmates have been severely affected by their atrocities. The accused in the cell are Anu Kumar, Jagga, Nagaraj, Pradosh and Lakshman. Fed up with Darshan’s constant harassment, fellow inmates have sought transfer to another jail and one of the inmates has threatened to commit suicide.
After the photos inside the jail went viral, the jail rules were further tightened. IPS officer Anshu Kumar has been appointed as the chief superintendent of the jail and has enforced the strictest rules as soon as he took charge. It is said that the accused Darshan has lost his mental stability due to these new and stringent rules. Now he has to clean the toilets inside the cell as well, which has added to Darshan’s mental stress.
Fed up with Darshan’s torture, two fellow inmates have already sought transfer to another jail. Anu Kumar and Jagadish have filed a petition seeking their transfer to Chitradurga jail. It is alleged that Darshan has been torturing all the prisoners mentally and physically except the accused Nagaraj.
Two days ago, there was a big fight in Darshan’s cell. Jugga and Darshan had a heated argument. When the quarrel became intense, the jail authorities intervened and defused the situation. Darshan also kicked his fellow inmates who were sleeping and abused them. There has also been an argument among the inmates over the appointment of a lawyer.
If I stay here, I will die, Anu Kumar said. He lamented that he could not get bail and that Darshan’s torture could not be stopped. I will do something and die, Anu Kumar said, adding that the jail authorities are taking care of him. CCTV cameras have been installed near Darshan’s cell and the jail authorities are keeping a close watch.
