Shaam Debuts as Director with Uplifting Indie Track

Actor Shaam, known for his long-standing career in Tamil cinema, has stepped into direction with an inspiring Indie song titled Varum Vetri. The track is sung by Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep, adding star appeal to the project.

Shaam has both directed and produced the musical album under his banner, SIR Studios. Actress Neera appears alongside him, bringing vibrancy to the song’s theme of aspiration. Composer Amrish scores the track, while choreographer Sridhar Master enhances it with energetic dance moves. The album will be released globally by T-Series.

The project’s technical crew includes cinematographer K. A. Sakthivel, editor Lawrence Kishore, lyricist Jagan, art director V. R. Rajavel, stunt coordinator Monster Mukesh, and costume designer Neera.

Meanwhile, Shaam has wrapped filming for The Trainer, director P. Velmanikkam’s action thriller inspired by the Tamil Nadu Police’s Kaavalan app. The film stars Srikanth as a skilled dog trainer with a trained dog named Lee playing a key role. Shaam portrays a police officer in a plot involving a criminal gang controlled by an acupuncture doctor. Packed with eight major action sequences, the film promises an intense viewing experience.

The cast also includes Pujitha Ponnda, Anjana Kirthi, Junior MGR, Vagai Chandrasekar, and Sai Dheena. The technical team features cinematographer Arunmozhi Cholan, composer Karthik Raja, and editor Niranjan Antony.
