Aam Aadmi Party marks 14th Foundation Day

BENGALURU

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) celebrated its 14th foundation day along with Constitution Day at its city headquarters with enthusiasm. Party leaders described the event as not just a political gathering but a celebration of a movement aimed at empowering the common citizen.

Working President Sitaram Gundappa said AAP is more than a political party—it is a movement. He urged Kannadigas to join efforts to end corruption and take control away from the entrenched system. “The people must come together to remove the grip of the corrupt system in power,” he said.

State Vice President Vijay Sharma emphasized the need to eliminate family politics, partisanship, and the commercialization of politics. He highlighted Arvind Kejriwal’s vision of success and said true transformation is possible only when the common man actively participates in empowered politics.

Party General Secretary Sanchit Sehwani, along with leaders Laxmikant Rao, Dr. Satish Kumar, Usha Mohan, Sushma Veer, Ashwin Shetty, Jagadish V. Sadam, Rudrayya Navali Math, and others participated in the celebrations.

The party reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots politics, calling on citizens to actively engage in shaping a corruption-free and people-centered governance model in Karnataka.
