The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Bengaluru campus, hosted an International Training Programme for a distinguished delegation from the Management Association of Nepal (MAN), marking a significant step in strengthening cross-border collaboration in professional development. The one-day programme, titled “Building a Fulfilling Life: Identity, Connection, and Resilience,” focused on empowering management professionals with holistic life and career skills.
Dr Vinay Joshi, Dean, welcomed the MAN delegation and officials from EPFO Nepal, recalling the long-standing ties with Nepal. Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Muddu Vinay inaugurated the programme with an address on the “Life Chakra,” highlighting the importance of cultivating happiness as a foundation for success in all spheres of life. He also presented the concept of the “Wheel of Completeness,” a model designed to guide individuals towards achieving personal and professional balance.
Dr Joshi then offered an overview of the ICFAI Group’s contributions to higher education and capacity building across India, underlining its commitment to nurturing globally competent professionals.
The training sessions were designed to enhance well-being and leadership effectiveness, focusing on the pillars of Identity, Connection, and Resilience. ICFAI faculty members — Dr Seethalakshmi, Dr Shweta Puneet, Surjyabrat, and Dr Niharika Singh — conducted five interactive modules:
- The ‘Who Am I’ Blueprint
- Networking & Social Connection: Building Your Personal Board of Directors
- Emotional Intelligence and Managing Change: The Resilience Toolkit
- Communication with Family/Partners: The Collaborative Life Plan
- Technology & Digital Literacy: Tools for Connection and Exploration
Participants engaged in reflective exercises, group activities, and practical frameworks aimed at improving both personal clarity and workplace effectiveness. The programme also reinforced collaborative ties between MAN and ICFAI, setting the stage for future academic and professional exchanges.
