Minister Reddy denies rumors of Karnataka government instability

In Ramanagara, Reddy told media he is unaware of MLAs’ Delhi visit or any state government leadership changes

RAMANAGARA
Minister Ramalinga Reddy said there is no November revolution, no illusion and no instability in the Karnataka government. He said everything is peaceful and normal, and people should not believe in unnecessary rumors or political stories.

Speaking to the media in Ramanagara, Reddy reacted to questions about the recent Delhi visit of some MLAs linked to Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar. He said he does not know who went to Delhi or why they went. He clearly said he has no information about any leadership change in the state government.

He also laughed off reports about Dalit ministers holding secret meetings. He said if four people meet for dinner, it does not mean they are planning politics. He added that he is not part of any separate group and joked that nobody even invites him to such dinners. He said he belongs only to the Congress and there are no internal groups creating trouble.

Reddy compared his party with the opposition and said the Congress does not have many factions like the BJP. According to him, BJP has several internal groups fighting, but Congress leaders are united under one leadership. He said the Congress government is stable and strong.

He also spoke about the government completing two and a half years in office. He said this is not like two innings in a cricket match. For them, the full five-year term is one complete innings. He promised that the government will continue to focus on development work for the full term.

He said the Congress government has already fulfilled many promises made to the people during elections. There is no confusion inside the party. Everything will be decided only by the high command, and no local leader can change anything alone.

Reddy urged people not to fall for false news and trust the government for stability and development across the state.
