Saint Philomena’s School Celebrates Annual Day 2025

Saint Philomena’s Group of Institutions in Mariyappana Palya celebrated its Amogha 2025 School Anniversary at Purnima Palace with grandeur. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Y.S. Balakrishna, who highlighted the importance of education, music, yoga, and karate in students’ physical and mental development.

Founder President Krishnappa spoke about the school’s functioning, emphasizing the role of parents, the dedication of teachers, and the disciplined routine of students. In collaboration with Thulasamma Doddaiah Charitable Trust, the school honored 20 underprivileged patients suffering from kidney and cancer by providing financial assistance, adding a compassionate touch to the celebrations.

Students showcased their talent through vibrant dance performances in colorful costumes, entertaining the parents and guests. H.P. Sandesh emphasized the significance of personality development, education, health, and guidance from the judiciary and government in shaping children’s future.

The event was attended by prominent personalities including Vidyamani Puttanna, M.C. Shivakumar, Srinivasalu, Secretary Rangaswamy, School Principal Manjushri M.K., and College Principal Prakash S. Officials praised the efforts of teachers and students for organizing a memorable celebration that combined learning, creativity, and social responsibility.

The anniversary highlighted the school’s commitment to holistic education while fostering a sense of empathy and community service among students.
