The buzz around the upcoming Kannada film 666 Operation Dream Theater has grown after the release of its poster and first look. The film, starring hat-trick hero Shivaraj Kumar and Dhananjay in lead roles, has now welcomed multi-lingual actress Priyanka Mohan to its ensemble cast.
Priyanka Mohan, who gained fame across South Indian cinema with notable performances, has previously worked with stars like Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Nani, Dhanush, and Shiv Karthikeyan. She has appeared in Telugu films including Gang Leader and Saripodha Shivaramb, and Tamil hits like Doctor, TikTok, Captain Miller, and Brother.
Speaking about joining the project, Priyanka said, I grew up watching Dr. Shivaraj Kumar’s movies. Being part of 666 Operation Dream Theater is a dream come true. I am thrilled to work with the talented Dhananjay and portray such an exciting role. I had hoped to work with director Hemant M. Rao, but I never imagined it would happen so soon.
Produced by Dr. Vaishak J. Gowda under the Vaishak J Films banner, the film is directed by Hemant M. Rao, who also handles the action sequences. The team has completed two phases of shooting and will begin the third in early December.
The movie’s retro spy theme pays homage to Dr. Rajkumar’s iconic films, with Shivaraj Kumar and Dhananjay sporting period looks. Charan Raj composes the music, while Advait Gurumurthy handles cinematography. Senior makeup artist N.K. Uma Maheshwar and costume designer Inchara Suresh have been instrumental in creating the film’s 1980s spy-world aesthetic.
