RCPL launches ‘Waggies’ offering affordable pet nutrition

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries Limited, has entered the growing pet-care market with the launch of Waggies, a new pet-food brand aimed at providing high-quality nutrition at affordable prices for pet parents across India.

RCPL said Waggies has been developed to offer complete and balanced nutrition, backed by strong scientific research. The company said the goal is to make everyday pet care easier and more accessible by offering products that combine reliable nutrition with value-driven pricing.

According to RCPL, the Waggies range is built on science-based formulations enriched with herbs, DHA for brain development, essential vitamins, and easily digestible ingredients that support overall pet health. The brand’s core belief is that every pet deserves proper nutrition, not just those from households that can afford premium products.

Ketan Mody, Executive Director at RCPL, said Waggies has been designed to deliver “superior value” by combining enhanced nutrition with affordability. He said the products offer extra protein, prebiotics for better digestion, balanced energy through the day, and support for joint, skin, and coat health. Mody added that the company wants to ensure that pet parents across India can access global-quality nutrition without stretching their budgets.

Guided by its philosophy of “From Few Households to Many,” RCPL aims to close the affordability gap with packs starting at ₹199 per kg. Waggies is priced at ₹199 while the Waggies Pro range begins at ₹249. The brand has also introduced 100-gram trial packs priced at ₹20 to encourage new pet parents to try the products before switching fully.

RCPL said the new brand will support healthier choices and make quality pet nutrition widely accessible.
