Mysuru
A science exhibition was organised at Gangotri Public School on Bogadi Main Road in Mysuru on the occasion of Children’s Day.
Dr. Dayananda, Scientist and Divisional Chief at CSB–CSRTI, Mysuru, attended the programme as the chief guest. He explained in detail to the children the importance of developing a scientific temper and incorporating scientific concepts into everyday life.
He also highlighted the significance of Children’s Day and conveyed his best wishes to the students.
Judges for the event were Dr. Motilal Yuvaraja, M.Sc., Ph.D., teacher at Nanjundeshwara Vidya Kendra, and R. Raghavendra, Professor at ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru.
The programme was attended by School President T. Rangappa, School Administrator Kanthi Nayak, Darshan, Director of Gangotri Education Trust, Principal Sunil Kumar, Headmaster Mohammed Farooq, teaching staff, students, non-teaching staff, and parents.
In the exhibition, the students of the school showcased excellent science models and won widespread appreciation from everyone present.
