Security forces have launched a major search operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district to track down two to three terrorists hiding in the Chatru forest area. The operation began after an encounter on Wednesday in which one jawan was injured. Officials said the terrorists are suspected to be Pakistani nationals. Drones, sniffer dogs, and reinforcements have been deployed. Kishtwar has witnessed six encounters in the past seven months as forces intensify their crackdown on militants.
