Living with Elderly People in Old Age Homes Makes Life More Meaningful: Ramakrishna

Living with the cheerful elderly residents of an old age home brings deeper meaning to life than living among the wealthy, said Ramakrishna, President of the Yeshwantpur Constituency Vokkaligara Vedike.

He was speaking after hoisting the flag during the 70th Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations at the Karnataka Vishwamanava Seva Trust Senior Citizens’ Special Spirituality Center in Doddabele, Yeshwantpur constituency. Ramakrishna commended the spirit of the elderly residents who, despite their age, celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with great enthusiasm. The Vokkaligara Vedike, he said, was proud to share in their joy and revive such cherished moments.

Kaggalipura Block Congress President Chikka Raju praised the initiative of the Vedike for celebrating Kannada Rajyotsava with senior citizens, calling it a gesture of compassion and cultural pride.

The event was attended by Muddaiah, Vice President of the Vokkaligara Forum; Pawan Kumar, Secretary; Muniraju, Joint Secretary; Govindaraju; Ramagowda, Savitri, Tara, Latha, Shantha, and other forum directors.
