Steel India honors farmers with innovative agri initiatives

A national-level “Scratch and Win” prize distribution ceremony for farmers was organized by Steel India and Sriranganatha Agri Mart at Veerashaiva Kalyana Mantapa, Vinayaka Nagar, J.C. Road, Tumakuru, on Saturday, November 1. The event also marked the celebration of Kannada Rajyotsava, honouring the contributions of Karnataka’s farming community.
Speaking at the event, Raghavendra P.M., Sales Director of Steel India, said the company is committed to revolutionizing agricultural machinery and empowering farmers with strong and durable tools. He emphasized that Steel India’s innovative products have built farmers’ trust and made agriculture more efficient. The “Scratch and Win” campaign has been extended till November 30, offering farmers the chance to win exciting prizes on selected products like electric, battery-operated, and MH weeders.
Sanjay Verma, Head of South Zone Operations, said that the program coinciding with Kannada Rajyotsava highlights Steel India’s dedication to supporting farmers through global-standard agricultural machinery. The collaboration with Sriranganatha Agri Mart aims to make modern tools accessible to farmers across Karnataka.
Grand Prize winner Byatarangayya expressed his happiness on winning prizes such as an electric scooter, a Steel MH-710 power weeder, and an Ola scooter. He lauded both companies for their valuable service in promoting modern agriculture.
Sriranganatha Agri House owner Shashidhar B.R. added that their partnership reflects a commitment to providing farmers with top-quality equipment. The event was attended by State Head Sharath Shetty, Dayanand, and farmers from Tumakuru and neighbouring districts.
