Swadeshi NJ, a Moodbidri-based beverage company known for its popular Curry brand of soft drinks, has been honored with the ET Now.in Business Conwave Award for Outstanding Leadership in Beverage Supply and Distribution. The recognition highlights the company’s growing presence in India’s beverage market.

At a recent ceremony held in Mangaluru, company founders J. Nigel and Shivani received the award from MLC D’Souza. Operating for just four years, Swadeshi NJ has made remarkable progress through innovation and quality. The company manufactures a wide range of artisanal, non-alcoholic beverages, including fruit drinks, mineral water, and aerated drinks under its sub-brand Kazee Bond.

The production unit is located in Mudubidri, Dakshina Kannada district, with a branch office in Hubballi. The company’s success stems from its creative product ideas and customer-centered approach, which have earned it over one million satisfied consumers across India.

Notably, Swadeshi NJ became the first in the country to launch “Kub Soda,” priced at just ₹5, making it affordable to a larger audience. Their beverages are crafted using natural ingredients and traditional recipes, ensuring both taste and quality.

With a robust distribution network of 500 agencies across more than 50 cities, Swadeshi NJ continues to expand its footprint nationwide. Founders Nigel and Shivani, members of the renowned Tadapallikar family from Bidar, said the award motivates them to bring more innovative and affordable beverages to the Indian market.
