The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the missing gold from Sabarimala temple has arrested former executive officer Sudheesh Kumar. Officials said Kumar, who served at the shrine in 2019, falsely recorded gold-plated Dwarapalaka idols as copper sheets, helping others remove the gold plating. He is the third person arrested after Unnikrishnan Potty and B Murari Babu. The SIT also questioned Vasudevan, Potty’s aide, and seized gold-plated parts from a relative’s house in Thiruvananthapuram.
