The title song of the upcoming Kannada film Saalagarara Sahakaara Sangha was launched in a grand ceremony at the packed MMB Legacy Hall. The song, sung by Sandalwood star Sharan and written and composed by M. S. Thyagaraj, received an enthusiastic response from the crowd. The event was inaugurated by astrologer Dr. Sridhar Guruji and actress Brinda Acharya.
The film is jointly produced by Kumaresh A. and Sunil Kumar (Pattanagere) under SNLNS Entertainers and Havish Cine Creations, with Rajanna Puttenahalli and Chandru Shiralakoppa as co-producers. Directed by Vikram Dhananjay R., known for Pantru and Gelaya, the movie features his writing, screenplay, dialogues, lyrics, and action direction — continuing his unique streak of multitasking across films.
Comedy stars Lokesh and Praveen Kumar will entertain audiences with their roles as Kempegowda, a loan giver, and Jolly Jolly Jack. The cast also includes Rangayana Raghu, Honnavallikrishna, Lakshisiddhaiah, and Pooja.
The film’s five songs feature music by V. Harikrishna, Jogiprem, Naveen Sajju, and M. M. Thyagaraj. Anirudh handles cinematography, while Ganesh Nirchal and Sheshachal Kulkarni take charge of editing. Filming took place over 45 days across Bengaluru, Thirthahalli, and Chikkamagaluru.
At the event, Brinda Acharya fondly joked about not being part of the “association,” recalling filmmaker Vikram Dhananjay’s earlier work Premam Poojyam. Several comedians and actors, including Bigg Boss fame Sonu Srinivas Gowda, attended and wished the team success.
