Not only should there be a change in the new P-cap being given to the state’s police personnel, but there should also be a change in the profession by improving efficiency. Through this, crimes in the society should be reduced, said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in a statement.
He was speaking at the introduction and distribution of P-Caps to police personnel and the launch of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force, at the Vidhana Soudha Banquet Hall on Tuesday.
I am the one who chose the P-cap instead of the slouch cap that constables have been wearing for many years. I have changed the cap that has been in use since 1956. Not only the cap change, but also the way we work efficiently in the profession should be changed, he said.
