A tragic cylinder explosion rocked KR Puram’s Triveni Nagar on Saturday morning, causing several houses to collapse and leaving the local community in shock. The blast claimed one life and critically injured three others, who were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care. Residents reported hearing loud explosions followed by clouds of dust and debris, heightening the chaos in the densely populated area.
The KR Puram Police and Bengaluru Fire Department swiftly arrived at the site to conduct rescue and relief operations. Emergency personnel have cordoned off the affected area to allow uninterrupted rescue work. Firefighters, using specialized equipment, carefully removed debris to ensure trapped individuals were safely rescued. Locals and volunteers joined authorities, offering immediate assistance such as temporary shelters, first aid, and support to the families affected by the blast.
