Recognizing their dedicated service during the recent Hindu Mahaganapati immersion procession and Shobhayatra in Chitradurga, Superintendent of Police Ranjit Kumar Bandaru felicitated Red Cross volunteers with certificates of appreciation. The volunteers had played a vital role as part of the Emergency Response Team, providing timely assistance and ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.
The felicitation ceremony was held on Friday at the Police Parade Ground, where SP Bandaru praised the volunteers for their commitment to public safety and community service. He noted that their contribution reflected true humanitarian spirit and cooperation with the police force during large public gatherings.
Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Shivakumar, police officers, and Red Cross members were present on the occasion.
