Actress Shikha Malhotra recently shared her experience of working with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, calling it a dream come true. She said that despite his fame, Shah Rukh never acts like a big star on set.
Shikha worked with him in the 2016 film Fan, where she saw his true nature up close. “He’s so humble,” she said. “You never feel like you’re working with a superstar. He makes you feel at ease with his energy and respect.”
She added that from the first moment, he made her feel like family. “There’s a warmth in the way he talks and a respect in how he listens,” she shared. “He treats everyone equally, whether you’re new or experienced.”
Shikha believes working with him teaches more than any acting school. “His kindness and simplicity are as big as his stardom,” she said.
Fan, directed by Maneesh Sharma, had Shah Rukh in a double role — a movie star and his fan. It was produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films and released on April 15, 2016.
Shikha, also a trained nurse, recently appeared in the film Kaanchli: Life in a Slough with actor Sanjay Mishra.
