Jivini Sugars Limited, operating under the leadership of Managing Director J.P. Basavaraj, organized a festive welfare program for its workforce this week at the company’s main unit near Jamkhandi. The event, held on the factory premises, brought together senior executives, workers, and their families to celebrate the company’s tradition of recognizing and supporting its employees during major festivals.
During the function, Mr. Basavaraj appreciated the dedication of all factory workers who have played a key role in maintaining production despite challenging conditions in the sugar sector. As part of the initiative, each employee received a festival gift pack, along with bonuses for exemplary performance and attendance. The management reaffirmed its commitment to continuous employee welfare and community development, highlighting that prosperity in the sugar industry depends not only on machines but on the human hands that keep them running.
The ceremony was presided over by Chief Engineer J.M. Shankar and General Manager for Operations Ramesh Patil, who distributed the gifts to employees. In their remarks, they noted that Jivini Sugars has consistently maintained a people-first culture — from housing and health facilities to education support for employees’ children.
Union representatives thanked the management for honoring long-standing demands related to improved working conditions, medical insurance, and safety infrastructure. The event concluded with a cultural program by the employees’ families, reflecting unity and festive spirit across all departments.
Speaking at the close, Mr. Basavaraj reiterated, Our success is built on the strength of our people. When we take care of our workforce, growth follows naturally.
