‘Rise, Kannadigas, Join KRS Party’ campaign mobilizes public awareness

Raichur

The Karnataka Rashtra Samiti (KRS) Party organized the ‘Eddelu Kannadiga, KRS Party Seeru Baa’ (Rise, Kannadigas, Join KRS Party) campaign across Raichur district, aiming to raise awareness about regional issues and expand party membership. The campaign commenced with a floral tribute to the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, followed by a foot march covering key locations including the Central Bus Station, Teen Kandil Circle, and Chandra Mouleshwar Circle. During the march, citizens were educated about the party’s objectives, and donations and new memberships were collected.

Speaking on the occasion, KRS Party State Vice President Somasundara highlighted that the suffering and struggles faced by Kannadigas today are directly caused by mainstream political parties, which prioritize personal and family interests over public welfare. He criticized caste-based and money-driven politics, emphasizing that KRS Party aims to protect Karnataka’s land, water, borders, and language, while ensuring greater employment opportunities for Kannadigas. A major public meeting is scheduled in November, urging all Kannadigas to participate.

State leaders including Joganahalli Gurumurthy, State Secretary Anand, Prasanna Kumar, Nirupadi K. Gomarci, Basava Prabhu, Dyavanna Puladinni, and district leaders Kunduru Raghavendra, Krishna Sukalpete, Vijay Paul, and many others actively took part. The campaign also sought to highlight government schemes benefiting farmers, women, students, and agricultural workers, promoting a more progressive, citizen-focused approach to governance, and encouraging local organizations and leaders to support the initiative.
