MP CM Mohan Yadav meets Union Home Minister Shah

CM Yadav urged close monitoring of soybean rates, proper Bhavantar Yojana implementation, strict stubble burning prevention, and improvements in health services, ensuring Ayushman card benefits and better healthcare access

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his Delhi residence on Wednesday. After the meeting, CM Yadav shared on X, “I met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and received his guidance on various matters concerning the development of Madhya Pradesh.”

Prior to this, on Tuesday, CM Yadav inaugurated a two-day Collector-Commissioner conference in Bhopal, where he addressed officials on important issues related to governance and state development.

Speaking about agriculture and allied sectors, the Chief Minister noted that Madhya Pradesh has a predominantly agrarian economy. He emphasized the government’s focus on promoting natural and organic farming while increasing the cultivation of horticultural crops in place of traditional crops. CM Yadav instructed district collectors to support farmers in adopting organic methods and provide them with all necessary assistance. He also urged officials to encourage weekly local markets for naturally grown produce and create awareness about cash crops. Each collector was directed to motivate at least 100 farmers, maintain records, and assess the benefits of these initiatives.

CM Yadav further stressed careful monitoring of soybean auction rates and effective promotion of the Bhavantar Yojana to ensure farmers receive its full benefits. He called for strict measures to prevent stubble burning and protect the environment.

On health and nutrition, the Chief Minister highlighted the introduction of new facilities and urged officials to improve the quality of health services. He directed collectors to visit hospitals regularly, address deficiencies, ensure Ayushman card holders get all entitled benefits, and make healthcare more accessible for the public.

Through these directives, CM Yadav reinforced the government’s commitment to boosting agriculture, increasing farmers’ incomes, and strengthening health infrastructure throughout Madhya Pradesh, aiming for sustainable growth and better quality of life for its citizens.
