A husband attempted suicide while recording a video following harassment by his wife, and his family admitted him to the district hospital. Salman Pasha, a resident of Maralur Dinne, attempted to take his own life. Four years ago, he married Sayyad Nikhat Fidoors. After being together for two years, a rift developed between the couple, and Fidoors returned to her maternal home.
When Fidoors was pregnant with their second child, Salman Pasha had gone to Kuwait, where he worked as a hydraulic mechanic. During this time, Fidoors, staying at her maternal home, developed a conflict with her husband, and arguments began escalating day by day. It is alleged that Salman was harassed by his wife, her family, and a relative, Sayyad Burhan Uddin, over money.
After returning from Kuwait, Salman claims that Fidoors mentally harassed him by not allowing him to see their two children. She allegedly threatened to file for divorce if money was not given and continued to harass him while withholding the children. On Sunday, Salman attempted suicide by consuming poison and went live on social media, stating that he was attempting to end his life due to his wife’s harassment.
Salman’s family has filed a complaint regarding this matter at the District Police Station.
