No Discussion on CM Change Within Party: Gundu Rao

Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao dismissed BJP leader R. Ashoka’s claims of an impending Chief Minister change as baseless and speculative.

Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao criticized opposition leader R. Ashok’s repeated claims about an impending change in the Chief Minister’s post, calling them baseless and irresponsible. Ashok recently claimed that a “November revolution” would take place, hinting at a leadership change in the state. Responding on social media platform X, Rao questioned why Ashok and other BJP leaders are so concerned about internal party matters that do not concern them.

Rao emphasized that discussions regarding any change in the Chief Ministership are strictly internal to the party and no such deliberations have taken place. “Our party has not discussed any change in leadership, yet Ashok continues to make speculative statements as if predicting the future. His remarks are unfounded,” he stated.

The minister also underscored that any decisions regarding leadership will be made solely by the party high command, and outsiders have no role or right to comment on such matters. “If there is any change within our party, it will be decided internally by the leadership. It is unclear why Ashok is so invested in our internal affairs,” Rao remarked.

He urged political opponents to refrain from spreading misinformation and speculation, stressing that the party remains united and focused on governance and development, rather than engaging in unverified predictions about leadership changes.
