9 dead, 4 injured in Peshawar blast; Balochistan CM condemns attack

At least nine people were killed and four injured in a bomb blast in Peshawar, officials said. The explosion happened in a busy area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, causing immediate security concerns. Police and rescue teams quickly arrived, and the injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti strongly condemned the attack, calling it a “terrorist act.” He said security forces acted quickly and killed four attackers. Bugti added that terrorists cannot weaken the country’s spirit with such attacks. He praised the sacrifices of the people and security forces and said the government is committed to keeping Balochistan safe and peaceful. He also expressed sympathy for the victims’ families and wished a fast recovery for the injured.
