Tom Holland recovering after mild concussion

Hollywood actor Tom Holland has shared an update on his health after suffering a mild concussion while filming his new movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The incident happened on September 19 at Leavesden Studios in the UK during a stunt sequence. Filming was temporarily paused, but Holland assured fans he is “feeling better and on the mend.”

The actor posted on Instagram to thank his parents and supporters after attending a charity gala organized by his mother. “I’m sorry I had to leave early, but I’m recovering well,” he wrote, also thanking his father for stepping in and keeping the event lively.

Despite the injury, production is set to resume on September 29, and the film’s release date—July 31, 2026—remains unchanged.

Sony first shared behind-the-scenes footage from the film on August 10, showing Holland in Glasgow suited up as Spider-Man and performing stunts. “It feels different this time,” Holland said in the video. “Having fans on set from day one made it extra special.”

Spider-Man: Brand New Day brings back familiar characters and promises exciting action. Holland is focused on recovery and looks forward to returning to the set to finish what fans hope will be another blockbuster hit.
