Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is stepping into exciting new territory as she takes on the roles of director and producer for her upcoming film Saraswathi. Known for her powerful performances in various genres, Varalaxmi will now be leading both on and off screen with this ambitious project.
The film will be the first under her new production house, Dosa Diaries, which she has launched along with her sister, Pooja Sarathkumar. The announcement was made on September 27, and it has already created a buzz. Titled Saraswathi, the movie is described as a high-concept thriller. Interestingly, the letter ‘I’ in the title is highlighted in red, hinting at a suspenseful and intense storyline.
The film boasts a strong cast including veteran actor Prakash Raj, the talented Priyamani, and Naveen Chandra. Music will be composed by popular music director Thaman, while A.M. Edwin Sakay will handle cinematography. Venkat Raajen is in charge of editing, and Sudheer Macharla will serve as the art director. Praveen Daniel joins the team as the executive producer.
