Rakshikha, Sindoor reach Pickleball final

 The Rise Up Championship – Pickleball By The Bay 2025 promises an exciting climax in the women’s doubles category as Rakshikha Ravi and Sindoor Vineet Mittal are set to face Snehal Kishor Patil and Joshika Premkumar in the final. Both pairs earned their spots in the title clash after commanding wins in the semifinals at the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) sanctioned PWR 1000 event on Saturday.

In the opening semifinal, Rakshikha and Sindoor produced a clinical performance to defeat Pearl Nozer Amalsadiwala and Naomi Nozer Amalsadiwala in straight games, 11-6, 11-9. Their combination of sharp reflexes and strategic shot placement allowed them to maintain control throughout the contest, ensuring a smooth passage to the final.

Meanwhile, the second semifinal saw Snehal Kishor Patil and Joshika Premkumar overcome Urvi Abhyankar and Shreya Chakraborty with scores of 11-4, 11-8. Their consistency and tactical execution under pressure proved decisive, setting up a compelling final showdown. The championship match is expected to be a fiercely contested affair as both pairs vie for top honours in one of India’s premier pickleball tournaments.
