Bollywood star Salman Khan has opened up about his wish to become a parent someday. Speaking on the first episode of the streaming chat show Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, he discussed life, love, and his plans for fatherhood.
When asked by host Twinkle Khanna if he planned to adopt, Salman replied no, but said, “Children, I will have one day soon.” He shared that when the time comes, his large family will be there to support him. “There’s a whole village, a district, my family. The women in my family will take care of the children.”
He also mentioned his niece and nephews—Alizeh, Ayaan, and Aayat—saying by the time he has kids, they’ll be old enough to help too. Alizeh and Ayaan are the children of Salman’s sister Alvira and her husband Atul Agnihotri.
Salman also reflected on past relationships, saying, “Both partners need to grow together. That keeps insecurity away.”
The actor spoke about his battle with trigeminal neuralgia, a painful nerve condition he has fought for years. “I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy,” he said, though he added that his condition is now under control.
