District Invites Registrations for India Skills-2025
In preparation for the World Skills Competition-2026 in Shanghai, China, Chikkaballapur District officials on Tuesday released posters for India Skills-2025 at the Deputy Commissioner’s office. The World Skills Competition, held once every two years, is the largest professional skill contest globally.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner P.N. Ravindra emphasized that the Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, and Livelihood Department along with Karnataka Skill Development Corporation has opened registrations for India Skills-2025. Eligible candidates from the district must register online at www.skillindiadigital.gov.in by September 30.
The World Skills Competition brings together over 1,000 skilled youth aged 16 to 25 from more than 75 countries, competing across 63 skill categories to showcase their expertise on an international platform. As part of this initiative, Karnataka Skill Development Corporation has launched the Karnataka State Skill Olympics-2025. Winners will receive advanced training and selection opportunities to represent India at the global event.
