In celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, various service and cleanliness activities were organized in the KR Pura constituency, MLA Bairathi Basavaraj said.
At the local government hospital, fruits and bread were distributed to patients. Devotees performed the “Gomatha Puja” in front of the Kote Sri Venkataramana Swamy Temple. Students and municipal workers participated in a tree-planting drive and cleanliness activities within the government first-grade college campus, while BBMP staff received clothing and refreshments as part of the outreach.
Former municipal council members Jayaprakash JP, Srikant, Antony Swamy, along with other local leaders, state and district office-bearers, ward officials, Shakti Kendra representatives, and booth presidents actively participated in the programs.
These initiatives were part of ongoing efforts to honor the Prime Minister’s birthday through community service, environmental care, and citizen engagement.
