Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar today held a Janata Darshan at her home office, where she received thousands of petitions from citizens of Rural constituency and beyond.
The programme, which began at 10 am, witnessed people presenting appeals on a wide range of issues from personal grievances to community needs and village development works.
Several matters were resolved on the spot, while others were referred to officials of the concerned departments for speedy action. The session lasted for over four hours, during which Hebbalkar patiently listened to people’s problems and assured them of appropriate measures.
She was accompanied by Youth Congress leader Mrinal Hebbalkar, who also interacted with citizens and helped address their concerns.
The Minister’s proactive approach and positive response drew appreciation from those in attendance.
